Meet Katherina Degtyar, our Going Global Lead! ????
Kateryna is Startup Grind Kyiv Chapter Director and Techstars Startup Week Kyiv global facilitator. She has seen the Ukrainian startup ecosystem growing since 2013 and has worked with Ukraine’s biggest IT conference and several regional ones to get started in this industry. In 2014-2018 as an acceleration program manager Kateryna has put to new level several startup programs: WannaBiz, 1991 Open Data Incubator, inCUBator by PB.
In 2010-2012 Kateryna lived in Istanbul to attain an MBA degree at Sabanci University with a full merit-based scholarship. Prior to that, she worked for Extra Large LIR as a manager. Also, Kateryna is a yoga teacher with 15 years of teaching experience. Kateryna is very attracted to building communities would it be yoga, or student organization, or IT and entrepreneurship. MBA in Istanbul was much more of a cultural and relations experience rather than a purely logics and maths one.
