On June 17 and 18, the ??TechUkraine platform held two working meetings in the framework of implementing local financial assistance, “Boosting local traditional industries with IT capacities,” where business representatives exchanged experiences in tete-a-tete conversations. The activities aimed to establish communication between representatives of IT, creative industries, and machine building to address the identified challenges.
- 58 companies registered for the two events, and 24 companies took part.
- As a result of the matchmaking events, potential partnerships were formed: creative industries and IT – 29, machine building and IT – 26.
- Representatives of industries noted that the new format of interaction, although somewhat unusual, is very effective for networking and further cooperation.
The organization of events became possible with the assistance of the project “Application and implementation of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement in the field of trade / EU4Business: competitiveness and internationalization of SMEs”, funded by the European Union and the German government and implemented by the German federal company Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH GIZ Ukraine.
