On 10th of October, UK premier launch of a series of international and regional ‘mini-festivals’ in bringing together the tech community, refugee/displaced talent, their stories for an enriched knowledge sharing forum to advocate human rights and initiatives taken to advance three themes:
- digital divide/accessibility,
- displacement/refugees inclusion with responsible tech,
- digital rights & safeguarding
Alexandra Govorukha, Head of Global Affairs, Sigma-Software & Hack for Peace Leader, will participated at the panel discussion on ‘Information Aid’ sharing learnings from the Ukraine crisis on how the tech community responded and how access to trusted information made a difference?
Olesya Matveychuk, Head of Global Community, Techfugees, and Yuliia Sachenko, Country Head Ukraine, A21, will join the panel discussion on how responsible tech and access to trusted information in enabling digital identities aids to protect displaced persons, particularly to mitigate human trafficking.
