Ukraine’s IT Services Export 16% Up In 2022

For eight months of 2022, IT exports have grown by 16% year over year, according to the monitoring service Opendatabot.

  • The tech sector currently accounts for almost half of Ukraine’s export of services and is one of the very few export fields in Ukraine that show positive dynamics.

 

  • The IT sector is the only one industry in Ukraine that demonstrates the growth in 2022 – 27% (January-May 2022).
  • The export volume of computer services for the first half of 2022 by the National Bank of Ukraine is 3.74 billion dollars, which is 23% more than for the same period of the previous year. The amount of taxes and fees paid by the IT industry in the first half of the year amounted to UAH 32.6 billion.
