In the middle of the XX century, Ukrainian aviation pioneer Igor Sikorsky????????, educated at Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, disrupt the industry and become one of the most recognized engineers of the world. Since 1957, Sikorsky, now a Lockheed Martin Company, has proudly built the Presidential helicopter for flight crews of the United States Army and the United States Marine Corps during the Presidency of Dwight D. Eisenhower.
????This year in Washington helicopter became the White House Christmas Ornament, annually tradition by White House Historical Association. It symbolizes President Eisenhower’s commitment to innovation.
