Tech StartUp School, Lviv Polytechnic – Львівська політехніка, several private corporations – SoftServe, Gal-Kat with the support of public authorities launched the SID City – the first Scientific park in Lviv region (total area is 27,000 m2)
The main task of the Science, Innovation, Development park is to promote scientific, technical, and innovative activities, as well as the commercialization of research results – a synergy of science and business.
Unique characteristics:
creation of a unique innovation ecosystem of the region; development of scientific, technical and innovation activities, using benefits for science parks and access to new financial opportunities; use of scientific potential with modern technologies; conduct development of own startups; involvement of innovative organizations and enterprises to create joint production sites.The priority areas of the Scientific park:
Resource-efficient technologies. Mechanical engineering and machine making, renovation, and repair of equipment. Microelectronics, information technology, telecommunications. Chemical technology, new materials, development of biotechnology. High-tech development of agro-industrial production
