ClimateLaunchpad 2020 National Final Ukraine – the world’s largest green business ideas competition with the mission to unlock the world’s entrepreneurial cleantech potential to address the climate change issue. This competition sets up a stage for those green ideas propelling them towards the real business that makes a difference, creates a low-carbon and environmentally friendly future.
ClimateLaunchpad is part of the Entrepreneurship offerings of EIT Climate-KIC.
Out partner greencubator acts as the national lead for the Ukrainian chapter of ClimateLaunchpad since 2016. Ukraine joins ClimateLaunchpad for the fifth time.
This year, despite the pandemic challenges, Greencubator received 32 applications. Six teams were selected to prepare for the national finals:
Geodesic.Life – energy efficient prefab domed houses for ecological life.
HVGreen – vertical smart gardens for homes and offices.
TimeMachine4Energy – energy storage system based on aluminum compounds.
TarilUA – delivery service of сlean crockery instead of disposable.
Space Logistics Ukraine – waste-free rockets for suborbital launches of picosatellites.
Hybrid Airship – for low-carbon cargo air transport without binding to airports and safe air deliveries.
The teams are now actively preparing to pitch their projects during the National Final. Three winners will present their green business ideas at the ClimateLaunchpad 2020 Regional Final and get a chance to reach the ClimateLaunchpad 2020 Global Grand Final.
