How an accelerator can help Ukrainian startups to scale in China?

There are a lot of accelerators and educational programs working in Ukraine and helping Ukrainian startups growing and become successful global companies.
Since the beginning of 2021, Ukrainian startup Fund authorized 9 accelerators to launch the equity-free program for scaling up Ukrainian startups global market: Startup Wise Guys, DemiumStartups, eō Business Incubators, iHUB powered by NUMA, Blue Lake Accelerator, Seed Forum Global, US Market Access Center, 1991 Open Data Incubator, ISE – Innovation Startup Entrepreneurship. Only startups that have applied for a pre-seed or seed grant under the main program of the Fund and have indicated their desire to accelerate in the application can participate in the grant acceleration program of the Fund.
Ukrainian tech entrepreneur Nick Havryliak became the ambassador of Chinese XNode that works with corporations, startups, government entities, and academia to learn and share the best innovation models that work in China.
We talked to Nick and asked a few questions about the key benefits of the acceleration program of XNodeAccelerate for the Ukrainian team, who and how could participate in it.

TechUkraine: How the company could help startups to scale in China?

Nick Havryliak: XNode is one of the few Chinese and privately owned accelerators – deeply rooted in the Chinese innovation ecosystem while balancing full independence and good relationships with government entities.

International scale-ups considering expanding to the China market will face barriers if they come unprepared. XNode has built an action- and content-packed program to provide guidance, access to decision-makers, and meetings with potential partners.

A program designed for business impact and consists of 4-8 weeks workshops with local experts and meetings & introductions specific to startup’s business needs in China.

Workshops by our experts covering: Digital Landscape in China, China Business Model Localization, Product Localization, Market Research, WeChat for Business, Investment & VC Scene, Legal Structure, Finance, and IP, and many others.

Coworking space & an awesome community in Shanghai are included as well.

TechUkraine: Who could participate in program (key requirements)?

Nick Havryliak: Our target is B2B startups with proved revenue in domains: Smart manufacturing, MedTech, EdTech, Retail/Fashion, CleanTech.
