An educational and scientific laboratory of technologies of artificial intelligence was opened in Lviv based on the Lviv National University.
Among the main tasks of the laboratory is the analysis and implementation of new artificial intelligence technologies. According to the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, it is already working on self-driving cars, analysis of human behavior from streaming video data, machine & deep learning, computer vision, natural language processing, intelligent robots, virtual reality. and more.
The laboratory also cooperates with international companies such as
GlobalLogic and EPAM.
It is planned that in the near future the same laboratories will appear in other universities of Ukraine – in Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, and Odesa.The project was created by the Committee for the Development of Artificial Intelligence in Ukraine under the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
