Highlighted speeches during the event

Michael Chobanian, the founder of the first public Ukrainian exchange of crypto assets KUNA.io and the first Bitcoin agency in Eastern Europe and the CIS countries, presented the vision of the Ukrainian crypto market: “Crypto. Ukraine. Past → present → future”

Within the discussion “The voice of the Ukrainian crypto community. Cryptocurrency law in Ukraine” panelists covered the legislation trackrecord: Artem Afian – Attorney, Managing Partner, Juscutum Law Firm, Natali Drik – CEO Blockchain Association of Ukraine, Andrey Velikiy – Founder of the Telegram channel Cryptohamsters, Maksym Libanov – Commissioner at  the National Commission on Securities and Stock Market , moderated by Alex Momot – CEO Peanut.trade

Natali Drik, CEO Blockchain Association of Ukraine: “Ukraine is the crypto-friendly country besides the regulator and critics. We are currently in the process of negotiating a new regulation on crypto-assets. All iterations, communications, discussions are the workflow of developing the most relevant instruments for such a complex and difficult sphere. In my opinion, The European Commission’s Regulation of Markets in Crypto-assets (MiCA) is much better than Ukrainian draft law. And its implementation here would be convenient and clear for our market. But historically, we have started early and even aiming to harmonize with the European framework still couldn’t do it. But it’s on the agenda for close perspective.”

Pavel Kravchenko, Distributed Lab, talked about the bold trends in the industry

We can already see that governments globally are moving into digital economies and the adoption of their digital currencies.
