US Market Access Center (US MAC), a tech accelerator located in Silicon Valley (from San Francisco to Menlo Park), in partnership with StrategEast and California-based Catapult VC launched new venture fund in Ukraine.
- The VC will invest $50 MLN in early-stage startups that develops global projects for post-COVID world
- Anatoly Motkin, Founder and President at StrategEast, and managing partner of Catapult Jonathan Tower will lead the VC.
- StrategEast is focused on the 14 countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.
- Recently, StrategEast IT HUB opens its doors for Ukrainian students with GIZ Ukraine support. The first stage of the project includes enrollment of 25 students from the Azov and Donetsk regions of Ukraine. They will get the most demanded IT specialties and get a highly-paid job in global tech companies upon graduation without leaving their home regions.
