Ukraine Recovery Conference 2023

June 21st in London will mark the start of the Ukraine Recovery Conference – a large event dedicated to the reconstruction of Ukraine during and after the war with Russia.

The Conference will be held jointly by the UK and Ukraine in London, as a continuation of the cycle of annual events with the last one conducted in Lugano, Switzerland. The previous conference launched the Lugano Principles, which laid the foundation for the reconstruction process of Ukraine and united the world in its efforts.

URC 2023 will focus on mobilising international support for Ukraine’s economic and social stabilisation and recovery from the effects of war, including through emergency assistance for immediate needs and financing private sector participation in the reconstruction process.

During June 21-22, Ukrainian officials will present a number of projects, from a conceptual vision for transforming the economy to “Prozorro for Reconstruction.” In addition, there will also be a “Financial Rammstein” event on the sidelines of the conference. Representatives of Ukrainian business are coming to London too, Forbes reports.

According to the conference schedule available to Forbes, the following officials are expected to present their projects at the URC 2023 conference:

  • Deputy Head of the OP Rostislav Shurma
  • Minister of Economy Yulia Sviridenko and her deputy Oleksandr Gryban
  • Minister for Development of Communities and Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov and his deputy Oleksandra Azarkhina
  • Head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov
  • Minister for Social Policy Oksana Zholyovych
  • Minister of Energy Herman Galushchenko
  • Minister of Finance Serhiy Marchenko, who will take part in the “Financial Rammstein” donor platform meeting
