1. The Media developers.org.ua reported an increase of 32000 IT specialists in 2019 – the total number is 191 800, up 20 percentage points from a year earlier. Slowing after record in 2018 but still-strong Ukrainian IT job market keeps the economy going in turbulent times.
2. 17,9% of IT professionals working in companies “over 1000 specialists” – 17 companies in Ukraine, more than 34 000 employee
3. Five thousand vacancies a month, 9% increase – from 4606 to 5047 per month. The most demanded categories – Front-end, QA, PHP, .NET, and Java. The most popular non-tech jobs – Project і Product Manager.
4. Wages rose +36% у Middle Swift, +19% – TeamLead and 10% – Senior Ruby. Since 2014, the wages of the Senior developers rose + $600, Middle + $400. QA
5. The most popular sources to find a new job are personal recommendations – 26%, LinkedIn – 16%, djinni portal – 14%
