Ukraine x Meta negotiations: the Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov met with Global Policy President Nick Clegg.
Key points of the meeting:
- The war forced to interact with Meta more often. Cooperation is ongoing as well as the initiatives and support that has been provided during these hard times.
- One of the crucial thing now is to adapt Meta content moderation policies for wartime conditions.
- The last but not the least: UNITED24 fundraising platform – potential of incorporation as donation option in Meta’s social media. Promotion campaign of U24 abroad is also much needed.
Unfortunately, we have a lot of cases of blocking content, users, Ukrainian media outlets. Azov regiment also needs informational support and verification at Meta platforms.
