PayPal extends commission-free period for international payments for Ukrainians until September 2022.
- Since the launch of PayPay operation on March 17, more than 200 000 new accounts have been set up by Ukrainians, and a total of nearly $200 million has been sent to and by Ukrainian citizens and refugees.
- Additionally, with the help of the company half a billion dollars went to the accounts of humanitarian organizations dealing with consequences of full-scale war.
We expect further integration of PayPal services; namely for business accounts. It is important that Ukrainian business can develop, and our online stores and manufacturers are able to sell products worldwide, accepting money on PayPal. I’m grateful to Dan Schulman for supporting Ukraine and pro-Ukrainian position regarding stop operation in Russia, – Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.
