The Empowering Women in Agrifood (EWA) program is back, offering a unique opportunity to accelerate your business or launch your innovative idea. Supported by EIT Food and implemented locally by innovation experts Radar Tech, this six-month mentorship journey is designed to equip you with the skills, connections, and potential funding needed to thrive. Applications are now open for the 2025 cohort, providing a launchpad for women-led ventures set to reshape the future of food and agriculture in Ukraine.
Unlock Your Potential: What is EWA?
EWA is more than just a program; it’s a dedicated support system for female founders and innovators in the agrifood space. Over six months (June – November 2025), ten selected participants will dive into an intensive online program featuring:
- Personalized Mentorship: Gain invaluable one-on-one guidance from seasoned agrifood industry experts and successful entrepreneurs.
- Targeted Training: Participate in online workshops and potential offline events covering crucial business skills – from strategy and marketing to finance and pitching.
- Powerful Networking: Connect with key industry players, potential investors, clients, and join the prestigious international EIT Food community, boasting over 500 women agrifood innovators across Europe.
- Funding Opportunities: Showcase your progress and pitch your venture at the final Demo Day for a chance to win one of two financial awards: €10,000 or €5,000 to boost your business growth.
- Expense Support: Receive up to €1,000 per participant to help cover personal expenses like travel and accommodation for any offline components.

Are You Eligible?
EWA welcomes applications from women (18+) residing in Ukraine who meet one of the following criteria:
- You are a founder of an agrifood startup.
- You have an existing agrifood business registered in Ukraine for less than 3 years.
- You have a concrete business idea in the agrifood sector and are ready to bring it to life.
- Your agrifood solution/business has not received prior investment or grant funding exceeding €60,000.
