On September 10, the national accelerator Generation H, organized by SET University and the Tokarev Foundation, completed its third season. Following the final pitch day, two healthtech startups were awarded non-equity grants totaling €20,000 to advance their AI-driven medical solutions.
The €15,000 first prize went to AtriaPRM, an AI platform designed to automate clinical documentation and operational workflows. The €5,000 Audience Choice Award was awarded to Enhance Your Ability, a team building an AI-powered communication and learning platform for non-verbal children.
Expanding Cross-Border Access and Mentorship
This year’s edition ran for 10 weeks and, for the first time, opened its application process to international teams. Generation H 3.0 was conducted within the EUNITED Digital Hub, co-funded by the European Union under the Digital Europe programme.
Throughout the program, participants worked alongside more than 60 mentors and industry experts from Ukraine, Europe, and the United States. Key contributors included:

“In healthtech, success is measured not only by company valuation, revenue, or user numbers. Sometimes it is about a person who can walk again, a doctor who manages to save a patient, a family that gets another chance. And if technology can save even one life, it is worth fighting for. I want the next big healthtech company in the world to be born right here in Ukraine”, emphasized Serhiy Tokarev, founder of the Tokarev Foundation and co-founder of SET University.
The Winning Solutions and Cohort Finalists
The startups selected for awards focus on resolving critical operational and assistive care bottlenecks:
AtriaPRM (Winner – €15,000): Converts unstructured medical documents – such as diagnostic reports, laboratory test results, and consultation notes – into structured clinical data. By automating clinical processes, patient communication, and treatment coordination, the platform reduces administrative overhead for healthcare facilities.
Enhance Your Ability (Audience Choice Award – €5,000): Leverages artificial intelligence to assist non-verbal children with special needs. The solution combines augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) tools, specialized educational materials, and integrated support systems for parents, therapists, and schools.
Three additional finalists presented their products at the demo day:
TomoPulse: Specializes in medical imaging, analyzing dynamic digital chest tomosynthesis data for low-dose diagnostic screenings.
OBRIY: Develops a unified digital healthcare platform that integrates a licensed clinic, telemedicine services, AI-powered triage, and centralized patient health records.
PRM: Provides a physical rehabilitation platform that helps patients transform prescribed physical therapy exercises into sustained daily habits.
“Healthtech in Ukraine has ceased to be an experiment and has become an industry with its own leaders who are already expanding beyond the country’s borders. What these teams from different niches have in common is that they solve important problems and have already validated their hypotheses with real users. This is precisely the type of founders we were looking for. And this is exactly why Generation H exists – we want the entire world to believe in Ukrainian healthtech just as we do”, said Yevheniia Klepa, Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at SET University.
A Track Record of Ecosystem Growth
Established in 2024 as a dedicated platform to advance Ukraine’s healthcare technology sector, Generation H has supported more than 30 startups across its three seasons.
Previous cohort alumni have won competitions at IT Arena, EIT Jumpstarter, and Google for Startups, secured spots in the TechCrunch Startup Battlefield 200, and collectively raised over UAH 11 million in external funding.
“My main call to the teams has remained unchanged for three years: be more ambitious. Ukraine today is innovation under pressure. We are creating solutions needed not only by us, but by the world. Therefore, it is important to learn how to combine social impact with a business model. The world is changing, and as a philanthropy, we are shifting toward catalytic capital. This is not just a grant, but an opportunity to grow to a level where you can help others yourselves”, underscored Anastasia Deeva, CEO of the Tokarev Foundation.
