For early-stage European tech founders, securing corporate pilot programs and validating product-market fit with Fortune 500 enterprises remains one of the steepest hurdles. While emerging tech hubs regularly produce breakthrough technical solutions, integrating them into complex multinational supply chains and enterprise operations often requires more than just venture capital – it demands direct access to decision-makers.

Bridging this gap, L’Oréal Ukraine and innovation park UNIT.City have launched the third edition of the L’Oréal Startup Hub. The acceleration initiative is designed for Ukrainian tech startups ready to scale operations, test their solutions against the real-world operational challenges of a global beauty leader, and connect with international venture capital networks.
Registration for L’Oréal Startup Hub 3.0 is open through October 7.
From Pilot Solutions to Enterprise Integration
The L’Oréal Startup Hub operates as a strategic bridge connecting Ukrainian engineering and product teams directly with the operational needs of an international conglomerate.
This season, the program is specifically targeting early-stage startups building technologies and business models capable of modernizing core enterprise workflows. Key focus verticals include:
Digital Services
Beauty & Health Tech
E-commerce & Social Commerce
Data & AI
Field Force Tech
Logistics & Supply Chain
WorkTech
A core emphasis of Startup Hub 3.0 is placed on data orchestration and operational efficiency. The organizers are scouting for AI solutions for predictive analytics and automated decision-making, team automation tools, route and client engagement optimization, data consolidation architectures, as well as end-to-end supply chain and logistics optimization.
The primary selection criterion extends beyond technical complexity: solutions must demonstrate practical enterprise utility and clear venture scalability.
“The beauty industry demands forward-looking solutions. L’Oréal invests in startups that combine technological breakthroughs with consumer responsibility and international scale ambitions”, said Alena Bannitsina, General Manager at L’Oréal Ukraine.
Mentorship, Ecosystem Access, and Commercial Pilots
Selected finalists will enter an intensive acceleration track working directly with internal L’Oréal domain experts, seasoned startup operators, and tech mentors.
Key benefits for participating founders include:
One-on-one mentorship with L’Oréal leadership and industry specialists;
Direct deal-flow access to international investment and venture capital funds;
Specialized lectures and closed Q&A sessions with corporate operators;
PR and media support across regional and global channels;
Coworking access and ecosystem integration at UNIT.City.
Crucially, the accelerator offers founders a tangible pathway toward commercial collaboration with L’Oréal Ukraine. This provides teams with an enterprise sandbox to test technology relevance, gather direct customer feedback from corporate stakeholders, and de-risk their international go-to-market strategy.
“UNIT.City supports startups with an ambitious vision and the potential for global scale. We are looking for innovative projects that deliver practical value and reinforce Ukraine’s tech ecosystem”, noted Pavlo Mykhailiuk, Ecosystem Development Director at UNIT.City.
Road to InnoWave Day: Selection & Timeline
The acceleration pathway is structured into distinct evaluation milestones:
Open Call (Deadline: October 7): Initial screening of applications.
Q&A Session (September 29): An open session with the L’Oréal Ukraine team, allowing founders to dive deeper into enterprise use cases and procurement expectations.
Semi-Finalist Selection: 15 shortlisted startups will be invited to individual online interviews with L’Oréal leadership to determine the final cohort.
InnoWave Day Finale: The program culminates in an investor showcase where finalists pitch live before corporate executives, angel investors, venture funds, and tech community leaders. The event will also feature the awards ceremony and the announcement of the Startup Hub 3.0 winner.
Building a Unified Innovation Ecosystem
Beyond conventional accelerator perks, the platform serves as an enterprise sandbox where founders gain institutional trust and multinational corporations tap into agile, cutting-edge innovation.
“Ukrainian tech is a community, not just a business. Startups are its heart. We are delighted to support initiatives that give teams the opportunity to grow, learn, and showcase themselves to the world, because a strong ecosystem is our shared future”, highlighted Ismail Osbanov, CEO of Vector Media.
Valeriia Kushnerchuk, Executive Director of Diia.City Union, joins this season as the official Ambassador for L’Oréal Startup Hub 3.0.
“I genuinely believe that Ukraine’s future is shaped through entrepreneurship, technology, and the courage to think globally. Programs like this, which connect Ukrainian teams with international markets, create the exact opportunities critically needed for a boost today. They foster a culture of responsibility, innovation, and leadership among startups. It is a great honor for me to become the Ambassador for L’Oréal Startup Hub 3.0”, stated Valeriia Kushnerchuk, Executive Director of Diia.City Union.
