Ukrainian Startup Produced a Deviсe for Demining the Minefields
Efarm.pro is a startup which develops technological solutions for the agricultural sector. It became the basis for the creation of the unmanned complex for demining the minefields. The complex includes a drone, a demining robot, an autopilot and a towed tractor system capable to withstand the explosion.
Oleksandr Prykhodchenko is the author of the efarm.pro project. As well as the owner of the company “Gardarika Tres”and a resident of the Ukrainian Future business incubator, — Speka mentioned.
How does it work?
The complex assumes the three-level inspection of the territories and disposal of dangerous objects. At the first stage, drone scans the field and transmits the location of the explosive devices. It detects explosives at a depth of up to 1 meter.
Afterwards, a demining robot and certified sappers defuse the explosives. Next, a remote-controlled tractor with a trailed protection system drives into the field, it passes the top layer of the soil, which guarantees the safe work.
The tractor works in autonomous mode without an operator in the cab. It excludes the possibility of his death or injury. In addition, there is a protective equipment. This mechanism guarantees that nothing dangerous will remain in the ground. The system includes an automatic operation on large areas with 2 cm accuracy along a given route. The tractor traverses the field at a speed of 5 km/h, i.e., in a 10-hour working day, it is capable of surveying 20 hectares of land,” — developer noted.
The work of the efarm.pro complex will take place in fields of the de-occupied territories. Right now it is an actual question before the sowing.
