Ukrainian Medtech Startup DrugCard Secures New Investment Round

Ukrainian-founded medtech startup DrugCard has raised a new round of investment. Dmytro Gorilik, the startup’s co-founder and CEO, shared the news with AIN.Capital.

DrugCard is a Ukrainian medtech startup. The team is creating a platform for automatic monitoring of medical literature. The product helps pharmaceutical companies reduce costs, optimize routine processes, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in pharmacovigilance, — AIN. Capital reports.

Key highlights about the deal:

  • New Nordic Ventures became the lead investor.
  • The list of investors also included Petro Chernyshov, a business angel who occasionally invests in early-stage Ukrainian startups.
  • The amount of the deal is currently undisclosed.
  • This is not the first investment for DrugCard: back in 2021, the project raised €255,000 from the pharmaceutical company Farmak and the Spanish venture capital fund Think Bigger Capital.
