Grants of up to 50,000 from the EBRD and the EU for Ukrainian Businesses Creating Eco-Innovations and Climate Technologies

We invite Ukrainian small and medium-sized enterprises that develop environmentally friendly technologies to participate!

The acceptance of applications for the next stage of the grant competition “Climate Innovation Vouchers” ends on September 30, 2023. Ukrainian businesses can receive up to 50,000 euros for the development or implementation of technologies that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and increase the efficiency of energy consumption.

Climate Innovation Vouchersare one of the largest grant programs in Ukraine that support green innovations and stimulate the development of climate-friendly technologies. This program is initiated by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and is financed by the European Union.

Who can participate?

Enterprises that develop or implement innovative climate technologies can participate in the competition. They must be the registered legal entities (private companies) that have been operating on the territory of Ukraine for at least 1 year and belong to the small and medium business sector. The program cannot support communal and state-owned enterprises, public organizations, and individual entrepreneurs. Participants must be ready to co-finance the project of at least 25% of the grant amount. Read the detailed rules of the program via the link.

We also invite the companies and entrepreneurs who seek to provide services within the framework of the “Climate Innovation Vouchers” program to participate. You can view the service provider registration procedure in the appropriate section.

What can grant funds be used for?

The winners are able to use the Vouchers to pay for services necessary for the further development and improvement of their innovative solutions. The services provided as part of the grant should stimulate a certain “breakthrough” in the companys development and technology scaling, accelerate their exit and promotion to new markets. Among the services received by past grantees: industrial design, development of electronic components, certification, testing, patenting, development of IT components, marketing research, etc.

Who has already received these grants?

Among our graduates and grantees are companies such as Delfast, ReLeaf, Carbominer, GO TO-U, Prana, TOKA, The Good Plastic Company, Hempire, EcoFactor, Prengi, and many others. And we are looking for new champions.

Any questions left?

For applicants to fill out the questionnaire correctly, Greencubator holds online consultations every Thursday, where you can learn more about the participation conditions and get answers to your questions. There are only a few consultations left until the deadline – on September 21st and 28th – which take place at 1 p.m. online.
