In the USA, a free aggregator of all American electronic governance services, launched by Ukrainians, has started operating. The platform contains all solutions of the US e-government. To find any e-service, you just need to visit the website and choose a specific service or direction in which you need to obtain it.
The American counterpart of the Ukrainian electronic services aggregator Egovinusa.com was developed by the same team as Egov.in.ua. “In the USA, there are a lot of electronic governance services, but they are all located on different websites, and when you want to find a particular service, it’s very easy to get lost among the links to various resources. So the main idea of Egovinusa.com is to gather all services on one platform and categorize them by industries and areas of work to make them even more accessible to everyone.

Also, half a year ago, information appeared on the White House website that most users access government websites and digital services through online search engines, which produce hundreds of thousands of results for a query. And the United States began to require the use of a search function on the website for federal websites while also developing better search engine optimization (SEO) methods so that people could find the necessary information more quickly and reliably. Egovinusa will help address this,” says founder Igor Nikolaiev.
In 2024, the 22nd anniversary of the US Electronic Government Act will be celebrated. Its main task is to ensure easy and fair access for Americans to online government services. The Electronic Government Act of 2002 has had a profound and lasting impact on government services in the USA over the past two decades. This landmark legislation laid the foundation for the use of technology and the Internet to provide better and more accessible services to citizens, which have been evolving every year.
Over the 22 years, thousands of services have emerged, which the Egovinusa team has decided to unite into one portal for convenience, just as they have already done in Ukraine.
“After analyzing thousands of services, I can identify the main trends that the American egovernment is currently moving towards. First of all, there is a noticeable shift towards collaboration with the private sector, with significant efforts being made to bridge the digital divide in cities and rural areas by expanding electronic government services to rural areas, ensuring fair access to them for all citizens. Electronic government services have also demonstrated the ability to respond to crises such as pandemics, natural disasters, and other emergencies,” adds Igor Nikolaiev.
The Egovinusa.com team is constantly working on updating services and electronic governance laws. To add a missing service to the website, simply fill out the form and submit the request to the team’s email address provided on the website. The team will review it and add it if the service is governmental, not commercial, and meets other criteria.
Among the upcoming expansion plans for Egov.in.ua is the European market, which will not only involve launching similar platforms for European countries but also conducting various educational events to exchange experience in the development of electronic governance services between Ukraine and other countries worldwide.
