Himera, a Ukrainian developer of secure communication systems vital for the defense sector, has announced a seed investment from Nezlamni, a fund dedicated to supporting early-stage defense technology startups. While the exact figures remain confidential, the investment falls within Nezlamni’s typical check size of $100,000 to $400,000. This funding will be instrumental in scaling production of Himera’s flagship product, the HIMERA G1 Pro, expanding its product line, and driving expansion into new markets.

The HIMERA G1 Pro, an upgraded version of its battle-tested predecessor, represents a significant advancement in jamming-resistant radio technology. Engineered to excel in challenging electronic warfare environments, the system boasts pseudo-random frequency hopping, AES-256 encryption, and seamless voice and data transmission. Its intuitive interface and Android mobile integration simplify configuration, making it an ideal solution for the demanding communication needs of modern military operations. Thousands of HIMERA G1 Pro units are already deployed with Ukraine’s defense and security forces, providing invaluable real-world feedback for ongoing development and ensuring the system remains at the cutting edge of tactical communication.
“We’ve been in touch with the Nezlamni team for a while. When we opened this investment round, they were among the first to confirm their participation. We are currently going through crucial growth stages and are glad to have such partners,” said Misha Rudominskyi, co-founder of Himera.
Nezlamni, founded by entrepreneurs Dmytro Dubrovskyi, Viktoriia Dubrovska, Serhiy Smus, and Vitaliy Dyatlenko, focuses on pre-seed and seed-stage defense-tech projects. Their portfolio includes innovative companies like Ailand Systems (smart autonomous demining drones), Buntar Aerospace (long-range reconnaissance products), and Mantis Analytics (an AI platform for disinformation detection).
“Himera is an outstanding example of a Ukrainian defense-tech startup, combining robust software and protection systems with large, scalable production capabilities. Additionally, it is already used by the military in various scenarios, allowing for continuous improvement. We’re thrilled to support such impressive projects,” said Dmytro Dubrovskyi, co-founder of Nezlamni.
This investment in Himera underscores the growing importance of the Ukrainian defense technology sector. Despite the ongoing conflict, Ukrainian startups like Himera are developing innovative solutions critical to the country’s defense. This partnership between Himera and Nezlamni serves as a beacon of hope and a testament to the unwavering spirit of innovation in Ukraine.
