While the first wave of generative AI focused on simple chat interfaces, the next frontier is “agentic” – AI that doesn’t just talk, but executes. As enterprises struggle with the complexity of scaling manual operations, Ukrainian startup Obriy AI is positioning itself as a key architect of the autonomous workforce.

Today, Obriy AI officially announced a $500,000 funding round from N1 Investment Company, a firm specializing in early-stage AI, software, and infrastructure. The capital injection marks the startup’s first external investment and serves as a strategic bridge toward a larger Seed round planned for Fall 2026.
The Rise of Digital Employees: What is SURE?
The core of Obriy AI’s ecosystem is SURE, a multi-agent platform designed to create “AI employees”. Unlike basic automation tools, these agents are capable of handling multi-step, complex business processes – ranging from sophisticated customer success interactions to repetitive internal operations within legacy systems.
The investment will be used to:
Accelerate product development of the SURE platform;
Expand the engineering and commercial teams;
Scale internationally, with a primary focus on entering European markets.
Strategic Synergy: More Than Just Capital
For N1 Investment Company, the deal represents a high-conviction bet on the “agentic” shift in enterprise tech. The partnership extends beyond financing; N1 will actively support Obriy AI’s go-to-market strategy in Europe and help build local partnerships.
“Obriy is a prime example of a Ukrainian technology team building a global product even under the most difficult conditions”, says Kyrylo Medvedev, CEO of N1 Investment Company. “For N1, this deal is not just an investment, but a long-term partnership and a belief in the potential of Ukrainian AI companies”.
Vyacheslav Shestakovskyi, CEO & Co-founder of Obriy AI, emphasized that finding the right partner was more important than the valuation alone:
“It was important for us to find not just an investor, but a partner who is strategically involved in product development. N1 understands the AI market and our vector. This is exactly the synergy that will allow us to scale globally significantly faster”.
A Trajectory of Growth
This funding round follows a period of rapid validation for the startup. We previously reported on Obriy AI’s selection by the GovTech Lab Ukraine to pilot digital solutions for the public sector – a move that demonstrated the team’s ability to handle high-stakes, complex infrastructure even before this commercial expansion.
As the team prepares for its Fall 2026 Seed round, the focus remains clear: transforming the “AI hype” into tangible ROI for global enterprises through autonomous, multi-agent efficiency.
