On August 19, Kyiv will host Startup Burger: Cooking with Founders, an event bringing together startup founders, investors, and members of the tech ecosystem.

The organisers invite guests to gather around the kitchen table – a place where there are no prepared talking points and conversations happen honestly. Founders will share the stories that rarely make it into LinkedIn posts: doubts, risks, failed bets, and the decisions that ultimately shape a company’s future.
At the heart of the event is an experimental format. Throughout the evening, founders will cook burgers while simultaneously exploring the key ingredients of building an AI startup ingredient by ingredient – from the initial idea and founding team to fundraising, strategy, and each company’s own “secret sauce”.
Discussion topics will include:
- What matters more for a startup: the team or the idea?
- When should founders trust data, and when should they rely on intuition?
- Can funding actually hurt a business if it arrives at the wrong time?
- Why can two companies with the same resources end up with completely different outcomes?
