Mission Possible Launches Batch 5 and Pivots to a Platform Model to Empower Ukrainian Tech Founders

Building a tech startup in today’s volatile market requires far more than just a short-term acceleration course – it demands a continuous ecosystem of strategic mentorship, capital, and global opportunities. Addressing this shift, Ukrainian accelerator Mission Possible has announced the open call for its fifth batch, marking a major strategic evolution as it transitions into a full-scale platform for tech founders.

The initiative expands beyond the traditional accelerator framework to combine hands-on acceleration, an active peer community, high-level mentorship, and international growth pathways for Ukraine’s tech sector.

A Wave-Based Selection Model for Tailored Support

Starting with Batch 5, Mission Possible is replacing its traditional structure of two large annual intakes with a dynamic, wave-based selection process. Under this framework, multiple focused cohorts will be recruited within a single acceleration cycle.

This model ensures that startups are grouped based on similar stages of product development, founder experience, and potential for mutual synergy. While each wave undergoes its own active program, participants remain fully integrated into the broader Mission Possible ecosystem alongside alumni, mentors, and partners.

Applications will now remain open on a rolling basis, with distinct submission deadlines for each incoming wave.

“The core value of Mission Possible is not just the program itself, but the environment built around it. That is why we decided to develop Mission Possible as a platform rather than just an accelerator. The wave model allows us to create stronger cohorts, offer founders more entry points, and support them far beyond the duration of the program”, says Margaret Velebnyk, Managing Director of Mission Possible.

Track Record and Program Highlights

Across its previous four batches, Mission Possible has cultivated a vibrant community of over 80 tech founders. To date, alumni of the program have generated more than $2 million in revenue and raised over $1.6 million in funding to scale their products.

Batch 5 targets Ukrainian founders across diverse tech verticals and regions who are focusing on product enhancement, business scaling, or investment readiness. To make the program accessible nationwide, the structure has been revamped: following a mandatory four-week offline intensive in Kyiv, the remaining acceleration phase transitions into a hybrid format. This allows entrepreneurs to scale their ventures from their home cities while remaining fully engaged in program activities.

Selected startups will gain access to:

  • Investor Access: Preparation for fundraising and direct exposure to 20+ VC funds, business angels, and global startup networks.

  • Expert Mentorship: Over 300 hours of tailored guidance from founders and executives of leading technology enterprises.

  • Academic & Infrastructure Support: Curriculum elements from Saïd Business School (University of Oxford) and dedicated workspace at Kooperativ in Kyiv.

  • Growth Capital: $6,000 in Growth Experiment Credits to validate product and marketing hypotheses during the program.

  • Demo Day: A platform to pitch directly to active investors.

  • Alumni Network: Lifetime access to the collaborative Mission Possible community.

In exchange for participation and resources, Mission Possible takes a 2.5% equity stake in each venture.

Strategic Ecosystem Partnerships

The program is backed by an extensive network of domestic and international stakeholders, including u.ventures, UMAEF, Saïd Business School (University of Oxford), Kooperativ, the Ukrainian Startup Fund, and key players across the Ukrainian innovation ecosystem.
