Achievements of the Ukrainian Delegation at VIVA Technology 2023

The national delegation returned from Viva Technology in Paris: What the exhibition was remembered for and what results Ukrainian startups can be proud of?

We share the impressions of Ukrainian teams’ participation in the legendary VivaTech 2023 conference. The event was held in the capital of France from June 14 to 17 and gathered more than 150,000 visitors, 2,400 startups, and about 2,800 exhibitors.

This year, the yellow-blue stand united 12 innovative companies, including Qudi, Revisior, Skillzrun.com, MISU, G-MAK, Elomia Health, Orderry, InVisionaryBox, FlightMindAI, Uspacy, Adminix, UGLA.

In addition to intensive pitching and communication with journalists, the delegation’s participation was marked by several significant events:

  • The Skillzrun.com startup presented its product to French President Emmanuel Macron
  • The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to France Vadym Omelchenko visited the Ukrainian stand to hear the team’s speeches
  • 6 startups pitched on the main Pitch Stage of the conference
  • Startups Adminix, Skillzrun, and Revisior pitched to LVMH representatives

We cannot fail to mention the Ukrainian startup Releaf Paper, which became one of the 18 finalists of the LVMH Innovation Award. More than 1,300 startups from 75 countries around the world competed for the prize this year, of which more than 250 were in the Sustainability & Greentech category.

In addition, during the national delegation’s visit to Viva Technology 2023, a series of side events took place, including:

  •  European Tech Sovereignty Summit at the French Foreign Ministry
  •  VivaTech Night with representatives of the Ukrainian and French technology ecosystems
  • EU4Digital and Expertise France: Meeting with French investors in Paris

The delegation is organized by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the Embassy of Ukraine in the French Republic, the Ukrainian Startup Fund, La French Tech, the French-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI France Ukraine), TechUkraine, “Nazovni” platform and SET University.
