Continuing the series of materials about Ukrainian startups that will represent our country at CES 2024, we are pleased to present you Deus Robotics and Versi Bionics.

Deus Robotics

Deus Robotics is a growing startup focused on developing technologies for autonomous mobile robots (AMR) and their production. Through this technology, the company helps to reduce the operating costs of manufacturing, construction, and service companies. Deus does this by developing and supplying individual robotic solutions, like moving or sorting robots.

“Our mission is to enable people to work on interesting intellectual tasks, while robots can do the hard physical labor. We chose the niche of warehouse robotics because there is a lot of monotonous and repetitive work in warehouses that is easily roboticized, and it is also a very large market. Today, the potential demand for warehouse robots in the world is more than 30 million pieces, the market is currently worth more than $8 billion, and in 20 years it is expected to grow to $300 billion a year. The practicality is that you can increase the efficiency of a person in a warehouse by 5 times,” — says Pavlo Pikulin, CEO at Deus Robotics.

Deus Robotics hopes to make the world a better place through the design, manufacture, integration, and maintenance of high-tech AMRs geared towards resolving real global problems. Their robots aim to offer a flexible, modular and fulfillment platform to the changing business needs, solving various issues in the business life cycle.

“We expect that the American market will be robotized at the fastest pace, because this is where robotization shows the highest efficiency of robots, as human labor is expensive, and there is already a shortage of people who want to work in warehouses. We already have our first customers in the United States. We plan to further develop our business here and attract more customers,” — Pavlo adds.

Versi Bionics

We want to help regain lost abilities, return the freedom of life,” — that’s a motto of medtech’s innovators from Versi Bionics. Versi Bionics provides services in bionic prosthetics, which combines a reasonable price, service life and quality. Right now the company works on its comprehensive product — a bionic prosthetic arm with a unique two-axis automatic rotating wrist.

“The development of bionic prostheses can significantly improve the quality of life of people who have lost or been born without a limb. It can help them return to normal life by providing functionality similar to a natural hand. We want to create a product that can be installed on robotic equipment and robots, providing them with new capabilities and expanding their functionality in the field of bionic technology,” — says Tomuz Sergiy, development engineer at Versi Bionics.

In their plan to grow, the company is really focusing on getting into the important markets in the US and Europe, and they hope to grow a lot. Talking to specialists and making partnerships is a big part of this plan because it helps them work together and find new chances to grow. Especially in the US, people really like new and fancy technologies, so their innovative bionic prosthesis should be liked there.

“The startup has significant commercial potential, as it responds to a large global need for advanced bionic prostheses for civilians and military personnel who have lost a limb. The practicality lies in solving medical problems, improving the quality of life, and making military and medical institutions interested in using advanced technologies.  In Ukraine, we want to make it accessible,” — Sergiy adds.

We wish Ukrainian innovators great success, new customers and strengthening of Ukraine’s reputation as a tech country at the Consumer Electronic Show 2024!

The trade mission is organized by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine together with the Ukrainian Startup Fund and UVCA – Ukrainian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association. The Ukrainian delegation will participate in the event with the support of the USAID Competitive Economy Program. The mission information support is provided by TechUkraine.
