CASES and Future Perfect are Introducing a No-cost Acceleration Program

CASES and Future Perfect are introducing a no-cost acceleration program aimed at helping creative industries expand to an international level. CASES, a social network and EdTech platform for creative industries, along with Future Perfect, a language program team, is launching Creativity Beyond Borders, a free acceleration program for creative industries. This program is designed to help streamline processes, understand the role of the English language in international expansion, attract foreign companies for collaboration, and gain knowledge about international PR and marketing.

The program will be beneficial for businesses operating in the creative industries

The creative industries are composed of various fields that rely on human talent and intellect. This market is significant on a global scale, contributing approximately 4% to the GDP of countries. Products launched by the creative industries do not require complex production and often exist in digital form, which makes them easy to export. As a result, Ukrainian businesses involved in creative industries have the potential to expand internationally from Ukraine to any country in the world.

Currently, a significant number of Ukrainian companies are starting to expand into international markets. However, they face several challenges, such as limited proficiency in English, as well as the lack of English-language materials to present themselves and their services. To help overcome these obstacles, CASES and Future Perfect are launching a comprehensive acceleration program called Creativity Beyond Borders!

The program will equip participants with the necessary skills to sell services and negotiate contracts efficiently. It will also cover the legal aspects of working with foreigners, provide tips on how to attract contracts from foreign companies, discuss the required infrastructure for a brand, and explore how artificial intelligence can aid in international expansion.

“Ukraine has huge potential for the growth of its creative industries and expanding its reach in the global market, thanks to its impressive technological capabilities. However, there are several challenges that market participants face, including the need to be proficient in English. Being able to confidently communicate with partners from around the world and conduct business negotiations using technical vocabulary is crucial for success in the international market. A research study found that entrepreneurs stressed the importance of English proficiency for developing their businesses,” said Valeriya Ionan, Deputy Minister for Eurointegration at the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

The program has engaged international experts and Ukrainian expats to participate

The program will feature a series of webinars presented by experts from successful Ukrainian and international companies that have operated in global markets. These webinars will be available to users on an ongoing basis.

The founders and experts of successful Ukrainian companies that have expanded into markets in Europe, America, and beyond will share their expertise and practical advice through the program. In addition, the projects’ legal partners will provide all necessary documents to meet international and Ukrainian legal requirements for signing agreements.

“Despite some positive progress, Ukrainian creative teams are still poorly integrated into the global market. Interviews with creative business owners conducted by CASES indicate that only about 10% of companies have established processes for attracting clients from abroad. Many creative businesses tend to focus solely on the domestic market, which makes them highly vulnerable to any crisis that takes place within the country. This was especially noticeable during the first three months of the full-scale war when approximately half of the market participants either slowed down or completely stopped their operations. On the other hand, we have observed that companies that have already established their operations in foreign markets tend to be more confident while dealing with challenges. Expanding beyond the borders of Ukraine can be a strategic direction for the industry’s growth. The purpose of this course is to assist and motivate teams to take this crucial step,” says Anatoly Popel, CEO of CASES.
