Tur.ai, Ukrainian-Dutch AI Startup, Raises $1.45 Million to Automate Business Processes

Tur.ai, a Ukrainian-Dutch startup developing an AI-powered robotic process automation (RPA) platform, has raised $1.45 million in seed funding. The round was led by Czech fund Presto Tech Horizons with a $1.2 million investment.

In an interview with AIN.ua, Tur.ai CEO Yevhen Miasiushkin explained how the platform allows businesses to automate complex customer service processes, such as sales and client request processing. The technology automatically generates business process models from various data sources, eliminating manual work and saving time.

“Our solution can automatically generate business process models (BPMN) from unstructured data such as verbal descriptions or physical documents. This eliminates the need for manual process mapping, saving time and resources,” Miasiushkin told AIN.ua.

Tur.ai’s AI-driven approach also simplifies the process of training the automation models. The platform allows non-technical users to provide feedback on the AI agent’s performance, which is then used to retrain and improve the models.

“We have also built a unique solution for collecting feedback from non-technical users: a person can mark, write comments or evaluate the work of an AI agent. We automatically collect this data and use it to retrain models, ensuring their continuous improvement,” Miasiushkin added.

One example of Tur.ai’s solution in action is its work with DTEK, Ukraine’s largest private investor in the energy sector. Tur.ai created an AI agent to help DTEK find grant funding for restoring energy infrastructure damaged during the war. The agent automatically searches and analyzes relevant information, saving DTEK employees significant time and effort.

“DTEK uses our solution to automate the process of finding grant funding for the restoration of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure,” Miasiushkin said. “Military destruction has created a demand for grants offered by funds and banks in Ukraine, Europe and the USA. However, the process of obtaining them is bureaucratic…”

Miasiushkin emphasized the company’s commitment to Ukraine, stating that while they position themselves as Ukrainian-Dutch to appeal to the European market, the majority of their planned 30 new hires will be based in Ukraine.

“Ukraine will always remain the heart and brain of Tur.ai: among the 30 vacancies that we plan to open next year, the lion’s share will be in Ukraine,” he confirmed.

The new funding will be used to boost marketing and sales efforts, improve customer onboarding, and further develop the platform’s capabilities. Tur.ai aims to become a leading player in the RPA market, with ambitious plans to reach €50 million ARR and a team of 200 by 2028.

“We dream of creating a Ukrainian unicorn,” Miasiushkin shared. “A world-class high-tech company that, through its solutions, stimulates economic growth.”
