In a landmark move set to reshape the European defense landscape, the Ukrainian-American investment group MITS Capital has announced the formation of MITS Industries, a new Danish-Ukrainian company consolidating several of Ukraine’s leading defense technology producers into a single, formidable entity.

With dual headquarters in Copenhagen and Kyiv, MITS Industries is poised to become a major force, integrating battle-tested Ukrainian innovation with Danish and EU market access. The new company will focus its operations across four critical verticals:
- Unmanned Ground Systems (UGV)
- Counter-Drone Systems (C-UAS)
- Unmanned Aerial, Surface, and Underwater Vehicles (UAV, USV, UUV)
- Signals Intelligence & Electronic Warfare (SIGINT & EW)
The powerhouse merger brings together ground robotics leader Tencore, SIGINT specialist Infozahyst, electronic warfare systems manufacturer Unwave, and a currently undisclosed major Ukrainian drone producer. The combined workforce of the new entity will exceed 1,000 employees, with projected revenues for 2026 expected to surpass $200 million.
“This is just the beginning”, declared Denys Hurak, CIO and co-founder of MITS Capital. “We plan to create a powerful European player that can stand alongside leading defense concerns”.
Speaking on the Situational Awareness Podcast at Militarnyi.com, MITS Capital CEO and co-founder Perry Boyle emphasized that the move is a strategic alliance, not an acquisition. “This is a merger of three Ukrainian companies uniting because they believe in a common mission”, Boyle stated. He outlined a synergistic operational strategy: “Production will be based in Ukraine, with specific components—particularly for maritime applications—in Denmark. We will leverage the competitive advantages of both nations to create the best solutions for deterring Russia”.
Boyle described the new structure as a “platform” designed to open doors for Ukrainian manufacturers to EU markets and attract a new wave of international investors. MITS Industries will operate on a scalable drone-as-a-service model, delivering integrated solutions across air, land, and sea domains.
This strategic consolidation comes at a time of explosive growth for Ukraine’s defense sector. According to government estimates, the nation’s defense industry output is projected to exceed $35 billion in 2025, with private companies now producing more than is required for domestic needs alone.
MITS Capital has been a key driver in this ecosystem. In July 2025, the group invested $3.74 million into Tencore. Late last year, MITS also partnered with Victory Drones Defense to launch a training program for 20 Ukrainian defense startups, backed by a $100,000 grant fund. The formation of MITS Industries marks the next logical step in transforming isolated successes into a globally competitive force.
