Right now, Ukraine is becoming a Leader in the Global Defence Tech. To bridge the efforts, Ukraine launched the BRAVE1 project
BRAVE1 is a platform for military technological developments. From UAVs to demining systems. From idea to mass production. This is, in fact, a “Diia” for Ukrainian defense tech. You just visit the website, apply and can get help on various issues. From military expertise and testing at the training ground to finding components and patent registering. The priority of applications and the need for adoption are determined by defense departments, — Alex Bornyakov, the Deputy Minister of the Ukrainian Ministry of Digital Transformation notes in his Facebook.
BRAVE1 should become a single bridge for defense tech companies cooperation, cooperation with state and the military, as well as investors, volunteer foundations, the media and everyone who helps to bring the victory closer through technology.
In general, the focus of BRAVE1 activities will be on 5 areas:
Invest: Provide grants to developers which are in priority because of the needs of the security and defense forces;
Invent: Help the security and defense forces to find effective technological solutions among Ukrainian developers;
Platform: Create a platform which unites all industry stakeholders;
Showcase: Ensure the interaction with defense forces by showing them developments and receiving feedback on their use;
Boost: Provide comprehensive support to projects prioritized by security and defense forces, — AIN.UA adds.
The project was launched by: Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine, Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.
