The global stage of IDEX 2025 in Abu Dhabi witnessed the unveiling of Ukraine’s latest armored marvels, the UAT-TISA armored pickup and the GYURZA-O2 armored vehicle, both showcased by UkrArmoTech. These formidable machines signal a significant leap in Ukraine’s defense capabilities, designed to meet the rigorous demands of modern warfare.

UAT-TISA: The Agile Warrior
The UAT-TISA is a lightweight armored pickup built on the robust TOYOTA LAND CRUISER LC79 chassis. This agile vehicle is engineered for a multitude of tactical roles, including personnel transport (4 crew members), ammunition delivery, and cargo hauling of up to one ton. Its versatility extends to low-risk tactical missions, rapid mobile response, and swift deployment of mobile groups.
Key Features:
- Protection: STANAG 4569 Level 1 protection, shielding against 7.62×51mm non-armor-piercing rounds and 155mm artillery shell fragments.
- Mine Resistance: Designed to withstand explosions equivalent to 3 kg of TNT under the hull and DM 51 grenades.
- Endurance: A fuel capacity enabling a range of over 1,000 kilometers.
- Advanced Technology: Equipped with a snorkel, front and rear night-vision cameras, and provisions for standard-issue electronic warfare systems (REB).
- Safety: The armored capsule isolates the crew from the engine and fuel tanks, with blast-resistant seating.
The UAT-TISA has been codified by Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense and is slated for deployment with the National Guard and State Border Guard Service in 2024. A specialized variant for emergency response is also in development.
GYURZA-O2: The Battlefield Powerhouse
The GYURZA-O2 is a heavy-duty armored vehicle capable of transporting 10+1 personnel, providing fire support, and conducting reconnaissance and patrols. It can be armed with a machine gun turret or a remote-controlled weapon station. UkrArmoTech plans to deliver hundreds of these vehicles to the Ukrainian Armed Forces in 2025.
