A call to arms for Ukraine’s brightest tech minds has been issued. “Country of Engineers,” a landmark initiative, is rolling out a nationwide series of hackathons designed to forge the future of the nation’s military technology. This powerful initiative is a joint force of Lobby X, the Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine, and the Technological Forces of Ukraine. The series kicks off in Uzhhorod on August 2nd, embarking on a national tour through Ternopil, Rivne, Vinnytsia, Odesa, Poltava, and Dnipro until October 2025, making it Ukraine’s most geographically ambitious event for military developers.
The invitation is open to the entire spectrum of Ukraine’s engineering talent—from seasoned engineers and scientists to agile startups and students with disruptive ideas. The mission is to generate breakthroughs in critical defense domains:
