Ukrainian defense-tech company HIMERA has successfully closed a new investment round, raising over $2.5 million. The funding is set to accelerate the development of secure communication technologies and expand the company’s footprint in both Ukrainian and international markets.

In the landscape of modern warfare, secure communication is not just a utility—it is the backbone of survival and tactical success. As electronic warfare (EW) intensifies, the ability to transmit data without detection or jamming has become a defining factor on the battlefield. HIMERA is at the forefront of solving this challenge.
The Investment Round
The round was led by Green Flag Ventures, with participation from a robust coalition of investors including:
Dave Morgan & Arnaud Dassier
Big Defence
UA 1
James Francis, Varangians, and Bulava Capital.
Mission: Resilience and Scale
According to the company’s press release, the raised capital will be directed toward “accelerating product development, expanding coverage, and increasing connection stability and security for Ukrainian units”.
HIMERA emphasizes that their solutions are already actively deployed in combat zones, proving critical for military operations where conventional communication fails.
Global Expansion
Beyond the frontlines in Ukraine, HIMERA is rapidly scaling its global presence. The company has already executed contracts in Europe and the USA.
This new capital injection is designed to scale existing projects and launch new initiatives in nations requiring secure communication systems with Low Probability of Intercept (LPI) capabilities—a must-have feature for modern defense forces.
