From Supercavitation to AI Psychotherapy: 8 Ukrainian Startups to Represent the Ecosystem at VivaTech 2026

As Europe’s premier tech gathering, Viva Technology, prepares to return to Paris on June 17-20, Ukraine has unveiled the eight high-growth startups selected to represent the nation’s resilient tech sector. The delegation, organized by the Ukrainian Startup Fund (USF) and its strategic partners, will showcase solutions ranging from deep-tech industrial water purification to AI-driven mental health insights.

The chosen startups will be featured in the Ukrainian National Pavilion, gaining access to a global network of institutional investors and corporate partners. Three specific teams – Hydratico, Z1RO, and Sec-TA – will also take the stage for a high-stakes pitch session organized by the EU4Innovation East project.

The Class of 2026: Meet the Startups

Deep Tech & Sustainability

  • Hydratico: Addressing the global water crisis, Hydratico utilizes supercavitation technology for advanced wastewater treatment and desalination. Their system is engineered to purify water from any source, including the most challenging industrial and mining effluents.

  • Z1RO: Focused on the circular economy, Z1RO develops biodesigned molded packaging crafted entirely from natural fibers, offering a sustainable alternative to plastic and non-recyclable materials.

AI, Health & MedTech

  • Odyssea: A mental well-being platform that leverages AI to analyze the human subconscious. The technology aims to identify the root causes of psychological challenges, providing users with deeper self-awareness.

  • Ovul: Utilizing non-invasive diagnostics, Ovul’s technology analyzes a single drop of saliva to track hormonal fluctuations. The platform provides personalized insights into daily well-being and physiological shifts.

Enterprise SaaS & Cybersecurity

  • Generect: A B2B sales data platform that streamlines lead generation. Through SaaS, API, and MCP for AI agents, it provides verified, real-time contact and company data to automate the top-of-funnel sales process.

  • Sec-TA: An AI-driven cybersecurity system designed to protect businesses in high-stakes environments. It focuses on creating secure digital spaces for innovation, shielding companies from increasingly sophisticated cyber threats.

GovTech & AgTech

  • Strimco: A GovTech specialist acting as a strategic partner for digital transformation. Their work spans the public sector, focusing on the digitization of social services, defense, healthcare, and the national economy.

  • Yharvest: An AgTech infrastructure startup providing continuous analytical soil monitoring. By delivering real-time data, Yharvest allows farmers to optimize fertilizer efficiency and enhance agronomic precision.

Strategic Scaling in the European Market

Participation in VivaTech 2026 serves as a critical bridge for Ukrainian founders looking to integrate into the Western European market. Beyond the visibility of the pavilion, the mission focuses on strategic scaling, attracting venture capital, and establishing long-term partnerships with international corporations.

The Ukrainian mission at Viva Technology 2026 is a coordinated effort by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Embassy of Ukraine in France, the Ukrainian Startup Fund, and the IT Ukraine Association.

The initiative is supported by La French Tech Kyiv, the CCI Franco-Ukrainienne (CCIFU), and the EU4Innovation East project—funded by the European Union and the French Government, and implemented by Expertise France.

Communication partner of the delegation: TechUkraine.

As the global tech landscape shifts toward highly specialized AI and sustainable industrial solutions, the 2026 delegation reflects Ukraine’s move from general IT outsourcing toward a product-centric, deep-tech powerhouse.
