The international tech event organized by Startup Valencia, VDS, will celebrate its seventh edition on the 23rd and 24th of October at the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia.
VDS is one of Southern Europe’s premier international tech events and a platform that transforms Valencia into a global tech hub. The event, which serves as a meeting point for entrepreneurs, startups, corporations, and investors, is expected to bring together over 2,500 startups, attract over 12,000 attendees from 100+ countries, and facilitate connections between international corporations and over 700 investors with assets under management valued at more than 30 billion euros.
Under the theme ‘Embracing evolution: Invest in the leaders of tomorrow‘, VDS2024 will analyze how the current technological revolution is positively impacting society by giving voice to the brightest leaders in the global innovation and technology ecosystem. For one week, Valencia will once again become the global epicenter of technological innovation and VDS will provide connections, tools, knowledge and access to the innovations that are transforming the future.
It gives you the unique opportunity to connect with companies and people whom you would not usually encounter, all in one place. It is home to the industry’s boldest and brightest new voices, where the tech ecosystem comes together to shape what’s next for the industry and where the latest global trends in fields such as artificial intelligence, mobility, sustainability, the future of work, women in tech or health are discussed.
VDS2024 is set to feature multiple stages located in the Museo de las Ciencias area, workshops, and presentations by prominent international leaders, as well as an exhibition area where the latest tech innovations, trends, and disruptive solutions will be showcased. Additionally, there will be designated spaces to facilitate networking, as well as areas for leisure and relaxation.
VDS has experienced explosive growth. Since its inaugural edition in 2018, this internationally-renowned tech conference has increased its number of attendees by 1,500%. The most recent edition, held on the 26th and 27th of October 2023 at the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia, exceeded all expectations by bringing together a staggering 12,000 professionals from 91 countries. This exceptional international turnout marks the second consecutive year that the event has broken its own attendance record.
