A curated delegation of ten Ukrainian technology companies is slated to participate in the NORDEEP 2025 Summit in Finland. This initiative represents a calculated step in the ongoing effort to embed Ukraine’s burgeoning deep-tech sector within the European and global innovation ecosystems.

From October 2–3, 2025, the Nordic Deep Tech Business Summit (NORDEEP) in Espoo, Finland, will host a delegation of ten Ukrainian startups. This marks the third consecutive year of Ukraine’s participation, indicating a sustained strategy to foster international partnerships and secure market access, even amidst significant national challenges.
The delegation’s formation is the result of a coordinated effort by key institutional players, including YEP Accelerator, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Startup Fund (USF), and the Seeds of Bravery project. Crucially, the initiative is supported by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), highlighting the confidence of international financial institutions in the viability and potential of Ukraine’s tech sector.
NORDEEP serves as a critical platform for engagement between science-driven innovators, corporate entities, and investment funds. Ukraine’s consistent presence underscores a clear objective: to transition from a narrative of resilience to one of tangible, competitive technological output on the world stage.
The Delegation: A Microcosm of Ukraine’s Tech Frontier
The selected companies offer a snapshot of the diversity and specialization emerging within Ukraine’s deep-tech landscape. The cohort includes ventures focused on some of today’s most critical domains:
- Aspichi: A VR-based assistant for applications in therapy and mental health.
- Soft Way: A comprehensive solution for business travel management.
- DOFamine: A motion simulator with a brain-computer interface designed for veteran and neurological rehabilitation.
- Explogen: A biotechnology firm engineering next-generation bacterial strains for industrial use.
- Geodesic.Life: Developer of eco-friendly dome homes designed to reduce CO₂ emissions by up to 70%.
- HEFT: An AI-driven platform for health and fertility monitoring in dairy cattle.
- Marvilon: Manufacturer of gas analyzers for real-time industrial process monitoring.
- Peony: Creator of Ukraine’s first flushable, biodegradable menstrual pad free of microplastics.
- Sirocco Energy: Developer of innovative wind turbines aimed at reducing the cost of electricity.
- Synteza: A provider of synthetic data solutions to accelerate development in robotics and computer vision.
Framework of Selection and International Support
The composition of the delegation was determined through a rigorous, merit-based process. Eight companies were selected via an open competition, ensuring a transparent evaluation of their technological and commercial potential. Two additional startups were nominated through the EBRD’s Star Venture program, which identifies and supports high-growth ventures.
The financial and logistical framework for this initiative is robust. It is backed by the EBRD with funding from Switzerland via the EBRD’s Small Business Impact Fund. The list of donors to this fund—which includes Ireland, Italy, Korea, Luxembourg, Norway, the United Kingdom, the United States, Switzerland, Sweden, Japan, and the TaiwanBusiness – EBRD Technical Cooperation Fund—demonstrates a broad, multinational commitment to supporting Ukraine’s economic stability and technological advancement.
The participation of these ten companies at NORDEEP 2025 is more than a showcase; it is a strategic economic mission. It aims to catalyze foreign investment, establish R&D collaborations, and secure a durable position for Ukrainian technology within highly competitive global supply chains.
