This isn’t an upgrade; it’s a revolution. Ukrainian mil-tech vanguards Vyriy and The Fourth Law are launching mass production of a new breed of autonomous FPV drones, fusing a battle-proven platform with a sophisticated AI brain to create a weapon that thinks for itself.

The age of purely manual piloting in tactical warfare is coming to an end. In a game-changing collaboration, drone manufacturing powerhouse Vyriy is integrating the TFL-1 intelligent guidance module from autonomy architects The Fourth Law into its legendary Vyriy-10 FPV platform. The result is a smart, lethal, and cost-effective weapon designed to dominate the modern, electronically contested battlefield.
This initiative is a direct response to a clear demand from Ukraine’s military leadership for scalable, intelligent systems that provide a decisive asymmetric edge.
“Over the past few months, we have supplied TFL-1 modules to a number of combat brigades”, states Yaroslav Azhniuk, CEO of The Fourth Law, highlighting the system’s proven impact. “The use of our system has increased the effectiveness of drone strikes by 2 to 4 times, while the cost increases by only 10%”.
Fire, Forget, Annihilate
At the heart of this evolution is the TFL-1 module, a product of nearly two years of intensive engineering that has already earned NATO codification. It transforms the drone into a true “fire-and-forget” asset.
Here’s how it works: the operator identifies and locks onto a target visually. From that moment, the AI takes over. Its machine vision algorithms guide the drone to impact, relentlessly tracking the target and making micro-adjustments in real-time. This crucial autonomy ensures the strike is successful even if the connection with the operator is severed by enemy electronic warfare (EW) — a defining challenge on the front lines.
Oleksiy Babenko, CEO of Vyriy, confirmed the system’s power after dozens of personal tests.
“Artificial intelligence for target detection is a truly effective tool for destruction”, Babenko asserts. “It is an indispensable part of future guidance systems that significantly boosts efficiency. We are impressed by the progress of The Fourth Law; companies like theirs are precisely the asymmetric solution our army needs. We have decided to integrate the TFL-1 into our drones and expect to see an increase in successful strikes as early as next month”.
Smart Tech, Smart Economics
This leap in capability doesn’t come with a prohibitive price tag. The team has engineered a solution that is as economically smart as it is technologically advanced.
“We wanted the guidance system to have a minimal impact on the final price, and we succeeded”, explains Babenko. “The Vyriy-10-TFL-1 will cost only 18,500 UAH (approx. $450), making it fiercely competitive even against standard FPV drones without this intelligence”.
To accelerate adoption and reward skill, operators are also incentivized through the official “e-points” system. Every confirmed kill with the AI-assisted drone earns soldiers points redeemable for new equipment on the Brave1 defense-tech marketplace, creating a powerful feedback loop of success and re-equipment.
The future is arriving faster than anticipated. With a constantly updated software core and battlefield-proven results, the new standard is being set.
“Given the effectiveness”, Azhniuk predicts, “we expect that in 6-9 months, the majority of drones on the front line will feature similar autonomous systems”.
This isn’t just the launch of a new drone. It’s the deployment of a new philosophy—where Ukrainian ingenuity, code, and silicon are being scaled to outsmart and outperform the enemy on the battlefield of tomorrow.
