In a strategic move underscoring continued investor confidence in Ukraine’s battle-hardened technology, AI drone-swarm pioneer Swarmer has secured $500,000 in a new funding deal.

The investment marks the inaugural deal for the Oppenheimer Syndicate, a newly launched investment group from Silicon Valley. The syndicate is a new initiative by the Oppenheimer Acceleration Fund, which operates under the umbrella of the international Network VC Group.
This $500,000 injection is the first check written by the syndicate, signaling a clear and decisive focus on Ukraine’s burgeoning MilTech sector. For Swarmer, it adds further momentum to its high-profile success.
The company is already renowned for pulling off the largest investment in Ukrainian defense technology since the full-scale invasion—a landmark $15 million Series A round, as previously reported by TechUkraine. That round, which was led by US-based Broadband Capital Investments and included participation from R-G.AI, D3 Ventures, and Network VC itself, cemented Swarmer’s status as a leader in autonomous AI for drone fleets.
The new Oppenheimer Syndicate aims to become a key financial bridge, designed to attract more Ukrainian and international investors to spearhead the financing of cutting-edge defense startups.
The Oppenheimer Acceleration Fund, the syndicate’s parent, is a venture initiative firmly focused on MilTech, AI, and dual-use technologies. It is already deeply embedded in Ukraine’s innovation ecosystem, collaborating with key players like Brave1 and the Sikorsky Challenge, as well as hosting regular Demo Days in both Silicon Valley and Kyiv.
This new syndicate streamlines the investment process, making it more accessible. All operations are conducted online via the Startup Inc. platform, allowing investors to access exclusive fund deals and analytics with a starting investment as low as $5,000.
By choosing Swarmer, a company with tens of thousands of successful combat missions, as its first portfolio company, the Oppenheimer Syndicate is making a powerful opening statement: Ukraine’s defense-tech is a prime asset, and new pipelines are opening up to fund its future.
