TechUkraine, together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, The Embassy of Ukraine to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, the Luxembourg-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce (LUCC), Ukrainian Startup Fund, Nazovni platform was pleased to co-organize the event, to demonstrate the remarkable growth of Ukrainian IT, and to share the startup’s solutions and ideas.
Arnaud Lumet, our Ambassador at TechUkraine and the Board Member at Luxembourg-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce was one of the key drivers of the Ukrainian pavilion at ICT Spring. He shares his thoughts and insights about the first Ukrainian pavilion at ICT Spring:
“This year’s coordination of the Ukrainian pavilion at ICT Spring in Luxembourg was truly special and groundbreaking. As the first-ever pavilion dedicated to Ukraine, it brought together a consortium of esteemed partners, including The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, The Embassy of Ukraine to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, the Luxembourg-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce (LUCC), Ukrainian Startup Fund, TechUkraine, and Nazovni. This collaborative effort aimed to showcase the impressive potential of Ukrainian tech and startup players while fostering valuable connections with local, European, and global tech stakeholders present at the event.

However, like any ambitious project, we faced some challenges during the pavilion’s organization. We needed to secure funding within a short timeframe. Fortunately, we received invaluable support from financial partners such as the Blockchain Association of Ukraine, Deutsche Börse, and SFL SA, which made the project possible. Additionally, coordination with Ukrainian ministries, and designing the pavilion with the help of Ukrainian Startup Fund required timely and efficient efforts.
The showcased startups garnered significant visibility and interest during the event, with a focus on AI and Blockchain technologies. The Minister of Economy of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Mr. Fayot, visited the pavilion, providing startups like PLATMA the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions about their technologies and solutions.
AGROBON, representing the TransCarpathian IT Cluster, made promising connections with Fintech and Blockchain communities in Luxembourg and globally, including an interested African player. Similarly, UBOS expressed high satisfaction with their participation, acknowledging the quality of connections made at ICT Spring, surpassing many conferences they’ve attended.
Among the showcased startups, CLEVERFLEET stood out with its simple yet innovative solutions to recurring IT outsourcing problems, impressing visitors and potential investors.
Regarding investment opportunities, Luxembourg’s business angel networks and VC players are increasingly interested in the Ukrainian tech scene. The Tech and Startup Ecosystem in Luxembourg also offers great potential for collaboration, as showcased by Luxinnovation, which facilitates grants of 50,000 EUR (equity-free) for selected startups looking to establish themselves in Luxembourg.

The Luxembourg-Ukraine tech bridge holds significant promise, with existing connections at various levels, including government cooperation and deep tech support from European Innovation Council consortiums. Building further bridges in areas such as Cybersecurity, Fintech, and go-to-market strategies can create more opportunities for both Ukrainian tech companies and investors.
Luxembourg’s appeal as a European platform has not gone unnoticed, with an increasing number of Ukrainian companies and investors expressing interest in the country. The potential for meaningful collaborations and investments is evident, and our ongoing efforts aim to strengthen these connections and facilitate growth in both tech ecosystems.
I’m personally excited about the Luxembourg-Ukraine tech bridge’s prospects and believe that nurturing such partnerships will lead to remarkable opportunities for technological innovation, economic growth, and mutually beneficial relationships.”
