As part of DOU, the editorial team creates analytics of vacancies in Ukraine. DOU continues to monitor the Ukrainian IT labor market on a monthly basis.
Key trends in August 2023:
- A record 4199 vacancies in August – the most so far in 2023;
- Experienced professionals were sought after the most, but vacancies for beginners also set a record for this year: 294 positions with up to a year of experience;
- Marketing has a record number of 438 vacancies per month since the beginning of the full-scale invasion; while Java has the fewest vacancies in the last few years – 115;
- The average number of responses to vacancies has increased again and is the highest in the last few years – 29.9 responses;
- The most competitive areas in August: Front-end (106 responses per job), QA (104.3), HR (63.1), Project Manager (51.5), Java (40.1);
- 1372 companies posted vacancies on DOU in August – so far the highest number since the beginning of the year;
- PrivatBank was the most active company of the month (59 vacancies in August).
