The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine together with the Ukrainian Startup Fund and the Ukrainian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (UVCA) with the support of the USAID Competitive Economy Program in Ukraine are pleased to announce the beginning of the selection of Ukrainian startups for participation in the world’s most influential technological event – Consumer Electronics Show 2024, taking place from 9 to 12 January 2024 in Las Vegas, USA.
Consumer Electronics Show is a global stage for innovation and a real training ground for breakthrough technologies. CES is the main event of the year for the entire technology ecosystem, which traditionally begins in the first week of January, sets the stage for trends and demonstrates every time the determination of innovators to solve the world’s most difficult challenges.
Over 120,000 visitors and over 150 countries, 1,000+ startups, speakers, investors and influencers will come together for a glimpse into the future of technology! For more information on the conference program, please follow the link.
The organizers of the Trade Mission provide the participating teams with:
- Separate equipped exhibition space at the joint Trade Mission stand, including entrance tickets for all team members, as well as participation in the delegation’s activities (pitch session, networking, etc.)
- Travel costs are not covered (but may be)
The Startup Must Meet the Following Requirements:
- Be registered and operate in Ukraine, positioning itself as Ukrainian (this should be indicated on the website and on all public resources such as Crunchbase)
- Develop a product / solution in any of the technology categories listed on the CES website
- Have an English-speaking representative with excellent communication skills
- Be prepared to fully cover personal expenses in the USA during the exhibition
- Meet the Eureka Park exhibit hall eligibility criteria and apply to participate in the Consumer Electronics Show for the first time
The Innovative Solution Should:
- Be presented at least in the form of a prototype or scale model
- Have product, market and customer research and hypothesis testing
- Get the first positive feedback from customers (focus groups)
Selection Stages:
- Filling out an application about your product / service
- Checking for compliance with the terms of the competition
- Participation in the Pitch and presentation of the startup to the jury
- Selection of 12 teams based on the results of the jury’s evaluation and invitation to join the Ukrainian delegation to Consumer Electronics Show 2024
The application deadline has been extended. To participate in the competition, you must apply by October 06, 2023 (inclusive).
The language of the application and presentation is English. The application form can be found in your personal account on the Ukrainian Startup Fund portal in the “Partner Programs” section.
The participation of the Ukrainian delegation in the event will be supported by the USAID Competitive Economy Program.
