Ukrainian co-founding IT company Genesis will increase the number of educational and investment opportunities for technology businesses from Central and Eastern Europe. To do this, the company is bringing together startups and global partner companies in one ecosystem – TRMNL4 (Terminal 4).
The project is focused on two areas:
T4.Programs – educational programs for the development and scaling of technology businesses.
T4.Community – a community that brings together funders and investors.

The project’s partners include big tech companies Meta, Amazon Web Services, Deel, and Zendesk. The network includes more than 40 venture capital funds that invest in startups from the CEE region and beyond, including ffVC, Market One Capital, SMOK Ventures, Presto Ventures, and others.
Genesis is home to successful world-class Ukrainian tech products such as Jiji, BetterMe, and Headway. We have already created a unique business ecosystem for the Ukrainian market, and we want to continue to share our expertise with European entrepreneurs. Our new project TRMNL4 will become a platform of opportunities for IT business development, practical knowledge exchange, and networking, comments Artem Kopanev, COO of Genesis.

An example of training programs for founders under TRMNL4 is the StartUp Academy, which Genesis, together with Meta, has been implementing since 2021. Over this period, more than 120 startups have participated in the program, and seven of them have attracted investments ranging from $100,000 to $1 million after completing the program, including Bloomcoding, Inputsoft, EasySales, QuickShippers, and others.
The second area of TRMNL4 is T4.Community, a closed community that currently has more than 100 founders from different European countries, including Ukraine, Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania, Georgia, Lithuania, Estonia, and others.
All opportunities offered by TRMNL4 are free of charge. However, only the most motivated people can participate in the programs or the community, and they need to be pre-selected. Our goal is to bring together really ambitious entrepreneurs from Central and Eastern Europe and provide resources for quality growth: networking, business content, access to the best funds investing in SEE, and honest feedback from colleagues and our experts, comments Tetiana Ladanova, Startup Program Manager.
By the end of 2023, the TRMNL4 team plans to launch a series of open online events from TRMNL4, and is also preparing for a new season of Genesis StartUp Academy with Meta next year.
The TRMNL4 media kit is available here.
About the name TRMNL4
We were inspired by the image of a space station (often called “terminals”) as a symbol of connection and support. Our [terminal] TRMNL4 is a meeting place [for] startups, investors and big tech players. Having enriched each other, they set off to conquer the vastness of the technological universe. We work with those who are already creating value, who boldly transform ideas into quality products. We only accelerate and scale their growth.
About Genesis
Genesis is a Ukrainian co-founding IT company and one of the largest global app publishers. The Genesis ecosystem of businesses includes more than 25 projects operating in four areas: mobile apps, online media, classifieds, and R&D. Applications created in the Genesis ecosystem have been downloaded by more than 300 million users worldwide. The company’s main markets are the United States, Europe, and Africa.
Since 2019, Genesis has been operating as a co-founding company. It co-founds businesses, provides the necessary expertise and resources, and accompanies the project to the point where it becomes a fully independent company. In particular, Genesis gave birth to and subsequently spun off the IT businesses Jiji, BetterMe, and Headway. OBRIO, AMO, Universe, and more than 20 other startup tech businesses are currently developing in the ecosystem.
One of Genesis’ priorities is education. In addition to free corporate schools for employees, the company organizes educational events for anyone interested in the technology sector. Over five years, more than 45,000 people have completed various training programs from Genesis Education. In 2021, Genesis, together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the Ministry of Education and Science, and the Kyiv School of Economics (KSE), presented the first all-Ukrainian course for students, “Creating and Developing IT Products.” In 2023, Genesis, together with Meta, and with the support of Amazon Web Services (AWS), launched the third international program for IT entrepreneurs and C-level executives of technology businesses – Genesis Startup Academy 3.0 together with Meta.
