Forbes Tech 2023 is an event to discuss the main technological trends and achievements of Ukraine in 2023. Transformation of education
“We have five key areas of focus. The first is educational management. It is about teachers and increasing their salaries. These are also elements of certification so that new people come to the education system. This is a change in the content and meaning of education. It is a network that allows us to make education equal for everyone. It is the educational space – the environment where we study and work. But how do we know that the standards we are implementing are effective? It takes 10, 15, and 20 years to see the results of education. Only after children learn, realize themselves and capitalize. We need results today.
That’s when we came up with the idea to create Mriya. Your child and you will be able to see the subjects, the program, grades, formal and informal feedback from teachers. There are a few things we like most of all. The first is the recommendation of new educational trajectories for the child. We can say: “You’ve been interested in such and such subjects for several semesters, you’ve taken an entrepreneurship elective, here’s a free course for you,” — Mykhailo Fedorov, the current Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, comments.
The second is real-time monitoring of the education system in order to modernize it in time. We are launching the product next year. I think it will be no less successful than Diia.
Army of Drones, Robots and Electronic Warfare
“We launched the Army of Drones project. This year, we have increased production by more than 100 times. Ukraine has some of the best conditions in the world to develop this area. For example, in just one day, 80 units of enemy equipment were hit by UAVs. We are talking about armored vehicles, guns, etc. Soon we will launch an army of robots, an army of electronic warfare, but this will be a separate story.”
Plans for Diia.City
“The next project is Diia.City. When we launched it, many people did not believe in it. We barely got enough votes in the parliament. Many thought we were creating a problematic project. However, today Diia.City has more than 700 residents. And their number is increasing every month. What do we plan to do next? First, we will continue to create conditions for the development of defense-tech within Diia.City.”
