The social network and Edtech platform for creative industries, CASES, in collaboration with Diia and the Juscutum Lawyers Association, has launched a free online course on creating and managing individual entrepreneurship. It includes a series of useful lessons, as well as helpful guides and free service contract templates!

The goal of the course is to increase the number of professionals who provide their services officially and transparently pay taxes. To achieve this, the course provides a clear and straightforward explanation for specialists who want to register as entrepreneurs: how to register, how to choose the appropriate NACE codes, which taxes and fees to pay, what to consider when drafting a contract, and how to send it in digital format. The course will be beneficial for individuals in creative industries such as designers, developers, and marketers.
Becoming an entrepreneur in Ukraine can be done in 10 minutes — by opening an Individual Entrepreneur (IE) on the Diia portal. This is the fastest business registration in the world. However, Ukrainians still hesitant about registering their businesses officially, due to widespread myths about the difficulties of running IE.
Diia is changing the approach to opening and managing businesses so that entrepreneurs can receive services quickly, conveniently, and without unnecessary bureaucracy.
Therefore, we gladly supported the CASES initiative and prepared several video lessons about Diia services — registering an Individual Entrepreneurship, updating information about it, and closing. All services are automated — without the involvement of a state registrar. We are building the most convenient interaction with the state to increase the number of entrepreneurs in Ukraine, — says Mstyslav Banik, Head of the eServices development at the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
The course program is unique
All materials were developed in collaboration with experts from the Juscutum Lawyers Association, including Dmytro Paliushchenko, Head of the Business Law, and the Diia Team, including Stepan Slutsky, Manager of Services for Individual Entrepreneurship at Diia. The course editor is Anatoly Popel, CEO of CASES.
The program not only covers individual entrepreneurship registration but also related topics such as accurate activity reporting, client interaction, and closing a business. A feature of the course is that, in addition to lessons, it includes a set of template documents: contracts, invoices etc.
Creative industries play an important role in modern society, contributing to progress and innovation. Our mission is to help people from the creative sector master the necessary knowledge for legally correct business conduct. After all, increasing the number of officially registered professionals contributes to the development of our state. This process creates new opportunities for the industry and the market, strengthening the cultural and economic landscape of the country, — commented the Juscutum Team.
The course was created considering all relevant legislative regulations. The team ensured that the information was as accessible and understandable as possible.
The first modules of the course are already available for completion. You can register for the course and get detailed information about the program at the link. Access to the course is free.
