In March 2024, the Ukrainian IT company IdeaSoft, part of the Sigma Software Group, launched IdeaSoft AI Hub – an open-source community focusing on Artificial Intelligence technologies, within which free lectures, webinars, and educational events from leading global technology companies will take place.
The first free online lecture took place on March 21, where Google Front-End Engineer Volodymyr Kyryliuk talked about “Google Technologies: Video Processing in the Browser and Innovative Machine Learning Solutions with Minimal Code”.
The next lecture will take place on April 30th, featuring Margarita Geleta, a researcher in artificial intelligence at the Berkeley AI Research Lab (BAIR) and Stanford Department of Biomedical Data Science (Stanford DBDS).
Margarita specializes in generative AI, genomics, and steganography. Her research has been presented at prestigious AI conferences such as NeurIPS, CVPR, AAAI, ICASSP, and ASHG.
Currently, Margarita is pursuing a PhD in Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley. Previously, she worked at Amazon as an Applied Scientist in the Home Innovation Team, specializing in large-scale generative models.
Margarita is an active participant in San Francisco’s tech scene – she has led the San Francisco Techstars community, served as a public head in the CS Berkeley Entrepreneurs Association, and organized several tech+MBA mixers, conferences, and hackathons, including Techstars Startup Weekend San Francisco AI 2023, AI Nexus with Berkeley SkyDeck, and the MadHats.ai conference in 2024.
On April 30th at 7:00 PM Kiev time, as part of the free lectures offered by IdeaSoft AI Hub, Margarita will delve into the topic of “GAN Inversion and Image Editing via GANs.”
