Ukrainian Startups Score Big Wins at Web Summit 2024

LISBON, PORTUGAL – A delegation of 24 Ukrainian startups just wrapped up a successful appearance at Web Summit 2024, one of the world’s largest tech conferences. These innovative companies, including Beholder, Bliss Brain, Cardiomo Ukraine LLC, and others, didn’t just attend – they made a real impact.

Several startups secured investment deals, potentially exceeding $1 million in total funding. They also connected with over 2,000 new clients and explored exciting opportunities in markets like the USA, Qatar, and Brazil.

One of the biggest wins came for Bliss Brain, an AI-powered meditation app. They were selected as a top 10 finalist out of 2,000 startups and even pitched their product on the main stage! This resulted in a 65% surge in downloads during the event.

This strong performance highlights the resilience of Ukraine’s tech sector. Despite facing immense challenges, these entrepreneurs are developing cutting-edge solutions and attracting global attention.

The delegation’s participation was spearheaded by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Startup Fund, with crucial support from the Ukraine-Moldova American Enterprise Fund,, the European consortium Seeds of Bravery, StrategEast, Digital Ukraine, and the Embassy of Ukraine in Portugal. Their combined efforts are helping to showcase Ukrainian innovation on the world stage.

With this momentum, these startups are poised for continued growth, contributing to Ukraine’s rising prominence as a tech hub.
