Time is running out for developers, designers, and creators to join Khataton 6.0. There are now just three days left to apply for the annual online ideathon dedicated to innovating at the intersection of technology and cultural heritage, with the deadline firmly set for October 20.

The HATA Hub platform has officially opened its sixth annual online ideathon, Khataton 6.0. This year, the event expands its reach, connecting innovators in Ukraine with the Ukrainian diaspora across five EU countries: Germany, Poland, Belgium, Portugal, and the Netherlands. Organized as a joint initiative by Digitizing.Space, House of Europe, and the Goethe-Institut Ukraine, the event is designed to foster international collaboration and use technology to preserve and promote national identity.
The central theme is Culture Tech—a rapidly growing field where technology, digital tools, and the arts converge. Specialists in this domain leverage everything from software development to data analysis to create, distribute, and safeguard cultural narratives and artifacts.
Who is This For? A Call for Diverse Talent
Khataton 6.0 is casting a wide net for talent. The call is open to a diverse range of professionals, from tech experts like developers, engineers, and data analysts to creative minds including graphic designers, artists, and filmmakers. Participants are invited to submit ideas in the Culture Tech and Heritage Tech domains, with a focus on:

- Innovations in digital culture, tourism, and education.
- Storytelling and content initiatives about Ukrainian culture.
- Digitalization and mapping of cultural heritage.
What’s on Offer for Participants?
