Y Combinator is ready for new startups
Y Combinator is accepting applications from startups for the Summer 2023 funding cycle. The program will take place from June till the August 2023. YC continues to accept applications until the batch starts in June.
Y Combinator works intensively with companies for three months to get them into the best possible shape and refine their pitch to investors. Each cycle culminates in Demo Day, when the startups present their companies to a carefully selected, invite-only audience. During the batch, startups are sorted into 4 groups. Each group is led by group partners who advise the founders in one-on-one and group office hours. Each group is split into 12-14 sections (6-10 companies), so that founders get the benefit of an intimate setting within the larger batch.

Y Combinator is an American technology startup accelerator which has been used to launch more than 4,000 companies. Twice a year they invest $500,000 per company in a large number of startups. The overall goal of YC is to help startups to take off. They arrive at YC at all different stages. Some haven’t even started working yet, and others have been launched for a year or more. But whatever stage a startup is at when they arrive, YC’s goal is to help them to be in dramatically better shape 3 months later.
